Answers to October Quiz Plus ... a recipe for Dauphinoise Casserole with Cabbage or Celeriac

... and now on to a tasty recipe suggestion, which you may wish to try.

Dauphinoise Casserole with Cabbage or Celeriac
Casseroles 'dauphinoise' can be just perfect LCHF dishes. Here we have one made with cabbage.
It is a combination of nutritious and inexpensive green cabbage and cheese.
The result is a creamy, delicious casserole.
Can be served as a side dish or as a vegetarian main course. More details here

  4. I knew all of them, but I just remember opal because my grandmother had an opal ring she wore on her right hand. Gramps and I buried her with it. We felt she would have liked that.

    This casserole looks OK, but I think the squash from yesterday is something I will actually fix.

  14. Two more "facts": My "little" Brother and his youngest daughter were born in October.
    I don´t expect them to join your list ;-)

    Today is German Unity Day (one of my T´s celebrates also his Birthday) and I made a Soljanke, a typical East-German dish I learned of a couple of years ago, recipe to come on Thursday, sooo yummy (I am "West German").
    Thanks also to you I cooked it!!! Me! The one who could not cook and asked you the dumbest questions in the beginning...
