I saw some lovely tulips today!

While shopping at one of my favourite supermarkets I noticed, at the end of each check-out, there were buckets full of beautiful colour flowers ... when I looked closer I saw they were tulips! Now you may be asking did I treat myself to a bunch?

Well, on this occasion I didn't, the reason being I still have some beautiful plants and flowers that were given to me at Christmas ... but I may well be treating myself soon 😊

Do you sometimes treat yourself, or a loved one to flowers?
Perhaps you have a favourite?

~ All the best Jan ~

  2. Tulips are one of my favorites! I think because I live near Holland Mi, which is known for tulips and even has a tulip festival. Also because they are a sign on Spring! So I usually treat myself to them a few times in the Spring.

  13. I pick out flowers for Tommy to give me and use his cc. He does not care what I buy and is willing to pay for them. Somehow, he just does not like doing it himself.

  14. I tulipani sono dei fiori stupendi.
Anche a me capita quando sono al supermercato di vedere delle bellissime piante
A volte resisto, come hai fatto tu, altre volte invece cedo alla tentazione e le prendo

  28. Oh yes, please do treat yourself! I used to do it in the winter months since I have my own cut ones in the summer months, but I have to put them away where Misty can't mess with them. With that said, I have not treated myself lately....

  34. I do treat myself to flowers, particularly in these winter months when there is nothing in the garden. I still have paperwhites and amaryllis blooming from Christmas, so I won't be purchasing flowers until they are finished. Tulips are always a favourite.
