Well, on this occasion I didn't, the reason being I still have some beautiful plants and flowers that were given to me at Christmas ... but I may well be treating myself soon 😊
Perhaps you have a favourite?

...thanks for the preview of spring.
ReplyDeleteTulips are one of my favorites! I think because I live near Holland Mi, which is known for tulips and even has a tulip festival. Also because they are a sign on Spring! So I usually treat myself to them a few times in the Spring.
ReplyDeleteI do treat myself to flowers. And never regret it.
ReplyDeleteI love tulips!
ReplyDeleteLindos tulipanes. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeletetulips are so pretty and hard to resist. Enjoy the flowers you have. There will be another time for the tulips!!
ReplyDeleteJan, those Tulips were like a breath of fresh air. SO pretty. And, to answer your question, yes, sometimes I do treat myself to some cut flowers when I'm shopping. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI love receiving flowers and sometimes buy them myself but they are so expensive these days.
ReplyDeleteI do, but not cut flowers. I buy myself orchids.
ReplyDeleteI should add to that. To clarify....I buy potted orchids.
ReplyDeleteYes Jan we do treat ourselves to grocery store flowers. In fact there are red tulips on our dining table. Very nice to see as we have snow!
ReplyDeleteI love tulips.
ReplyDeleteHarbinger of Spring!!
They are lovely flowers and no I don't buy flowers to put inside, have some in the garden if I wish to, Jan.
ReplyDeleteI pick out flowers for Tommy to give me and use his cc. He does not care what I buy and is willing to pay for them. Somehow, he just does not like doing it himself.
ReplyDeleteI tulipani sono dei fiori stupendi.
ReplyDeleteAnche a me capita quando sono al supermercato di vedere delle bellissime piante
A volte resisto, come hai fatto tu, altre volte invece cedo alla tentazione e le prendo
Tulips are also my favorites but they aren't available in my shop yet!
ReplyDeleteYour bouquet looks beautiful with their colors!
Have a happy day, hug Elke
Lindas tulipas e belo bouquet! Na hora oportuna poderás te presentear! beijos, chica
ReplyDeleteYes, flowers are a nice treat! They are lovely.

First signs of Spring I hope. It is still freezing around here.
ReplyDeleteGod bless, Jan.
They are lovely. Treat yourself next time!
ReplyDeleteI like tulips. Sometimes I treat myself with a book or something.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes buy yellow tulips and roses.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. Don't think I've ever brought myself a flower :(
ReplyDeleteAren't they lovely?
ReplyDeleteTreat yourself soon, you deserve it! Debbie
That must have been a lovely sight Jan. Such a sweet gift to be given plants. Coincidentally I have tulips on my post today taken a few years ago. All the best to :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful look at some lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteTulips are one of my favourite flowers. I'd love to see the tulip fields in Amsterdam. Xx
ReplyDeleteSo lovely🌹🌹🌹💖
ReplyDeleteOh yes, please do treat yourself! I used to do it in the winter months since I have my own cut ones in the summer months, but I have to put them away where Misty can't mess with them. With that said, I have not treated myself lately....
ReplyDeleteTulips are one of the most beautiful flowers dear Jan undoubtedly
ReplyDeleteI agree no match for home plants 🥰
Those are so pretty.

It also happens to me when I'm at the supermarket to see beautiful plants
Sometimes I resist, as you did, other times I give in to temptation and take them

Tulips are such a wonderful sign of spring. I would buy them in a heartbeat to help get me through winter!
ReplyDeleteNice to know that spring will come again after all this snow!! Tulips are beautiful and I love seeing them.
ReplyDeleteA few years ago I wrote a post about tulips and it also occurred to me to try growing one! The result was fantastic! https://norma2-siempreesprimavera-norma2.blogspot.com/2011/09/tulipan-en-primavera.html
ReplyDeleteI do treat myself to flowers, particularly in these winter months when there is nothing in the garden. I still have paperwhites and amaryllis blooming from Christmas, so I won't be purchasing flowers until they are finished. Tulips are always a favourite.
ReplyDeleteI like having flowers in the house. I don't do shopping, but hubby brings them home for me.
ReplyDeleteOooh those are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteNo I don't usually treat myself to flowers, I do like to plant some in my yard every spring and summer so that I can enjoy them all summer long :)
ReplyDeleteMe encantan los tulipanes, bueno todas las flores. Besos.
