  4. I did not realise the clique had been operating for so long, one of those threads goes back to 2009!

You would have though after 3years they would have got the message about their alternative to lowcarb across.

    Thanks

  5. I love Sid's comment about using his meter. On diabetes4losers he posted his new strategy for the anxiety around his high meter readings, what for it, not to take any. He felt much better about his condition after coming up with that doozey!

Would you really take advice from this man?

  6. They have Tim, you'd be surprised. You would be amazed at how many people get answers via p.m. instead of wasting time getting other people who bang on about things being nasty. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it is not happening.
All the people who profess to be LC on DCUK are really only just lowering their carbs below the RDA. in most cases.

  7. It goes back at least to 2008. Then it was Dennis, Fergus, Timo and many others such as Eddie, Trinkwasse in the firing line.

  8. Thanks for the links. The same people crop up for four years. Posting no useful help to the people that have been mislead and given no help. Whats wrong with them.

  9. But weren't they magnificent in their prime? A perfectly tuned anti-carb machine, breezing through the barriers of reason and science like they didn't exist, rallying behind their battle cry of "we are all different, we are all different."

It's actually quite sad to compare them in their pomp to the way they look today: beaten, disheartened, and humiliated. They've even had to dig out the old attack dog Jopar, since Sid went completely bonkers and lost what little credibility he had.

Good work Eddie. The end of the clique is nigh.

  10. We will see in due course, I hope you are right. As we know the promoters of big pharma and junk food are highly resilient.

They lie and twist the truth at every opportunity. Many now see them for what they are.

  11. From one of the links a succint and valid comment from Timo.

    "Another view on low carbing"

"I fail to see how posting links containing this kind of statement is compatible with the idea of 'Celebrating the individual'.

So talk to us about low G.I, catherinecherub. Leave the low-carbers to do what they need to do in peace.

I look forward to your helpful input on threads other than this one, catherinecherub"
