Time for a little R and R and few days fishing on this beautiful little lake.

I love the internet and social media, but sometimes you have to get away, it can be very addictive. I will be spending the next couple of days on this beautiful little lake fishing. No phone, no computers and probably no people. Nothing like the great outdoors to clear your head. I found this place around five years ago and it is an oasis of calm and tranquillity, I know a few places like this and now I am pretty much retired, I need to re-evaluate my priorities. As we get older our time becomes more precious, how quickly time passes by.

Thank you to the people that take the time to read our blog, special thanks to the people that post comments, you are very much appreciated.

Good luck and health to you and yours.

Eddie

Thanks ladies.

Just to let you know all fish are returned to the lake exactly as they come out. Knot-less landing nets, soft padded unhooking mats, and barb-less hooks. It's called catch and release. On a very warm day Jan comes down and is dab hand on the landing net.

All she wants is a good book and a flask of hot tea.

Kind regards Eddie

Hi Eileen and Martha - thank you for your comments.
I do often accompany Eddie on his fishing trips and I always make sure he has a good low carb lunch box and a flask of mushroom soup, which he prefers to tea. He's not quite the 'tea pot' that I am LOL

All the best Jan
