We are constantly told we need to get our cholesterol levels down. The $64,000 question must be WHY? the lower the cholesterol the sooner we die. Don't believe me, check out this very short video by UK Medical Doctor Malcolm Kendrick a heart disease expert. Eddie
Good to know, somehow Doctors are always alarmed when someone has high cholesterol.
ReplyDeleteDo not forget many Doctors have been financially rewarded to push statins on patients via targets from the likes of NICE et al More targets met means more money to surgeries.

Thank you for sharing that.
ReplyDeleteI've never really watched my cholesterol and now I'm glad I don't. Thanks for this.
ReplyDeleteAh, the sugar lie. When sugar hit the scene and the lobbyists wanted to push it so hard, they had to make a villain out of something else. Fats were the natural choice. It frustrates me that they brainwashed so many people and got Americans to buy into their processed foods that cut out natural ingredients and replace them with sugar. But I suppose that's a rant for another day. But you're talking about cholesterol, the "result" of fats. I digress.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful news. Now I don't feel so bad about having that three egg cheese omelet cooked in butter and half and half!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting info. My doctor prescribed me Lovastatin for my cholesterol. Now I'm rethinking my usage of it.
ReplyDeleteWell this is fascinating. Thanks for sharing. I had no idea. Definitely good to look at lots of data and research!

That is really interesting data. A blood test last October revealed my cholesterol to be 6.1 so my doctor persuaded me to go on statins. I had heard that doctors are financially rewarded for prescribing them. It’s difficult to know what to do for the best.
ReplyDeletethings like this coming out makes you question everything, who is telling the truth and what to do, thankful I haven't had to address this since my levels are good but it would be hard to make a decision when you don't know who you should be listening to :(
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt this is 100% correct.
ReplyDeleteThis is really interesting!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove your posts, but have never been able to hear the videos - a problem unique to this site. Would appreciate some transcripts if you cannot diagnose and fix the problem.
ReplyDeletehappy New Year.
