Low Carb Flours and Some Low Carb Cake Ideas


If you are just starting a low carb diet/lifestyle you may feel confused with which low carb flours to use. You may never have used any of them before and how to use them properly can be daunting. Low carb flours do not behave like wheat flour, and how to use them in your old regular high carb recipes is a common question. Of course you may also be interested, or want to know more about them.   2. My wife is the baker in the family and she makes a first rate lemon poppy seed cake, which goes well with mid morning coffee. I will pass these recipes in to her and see what she thinks.

  4. I love my daily square of rich, chewy, chocolate cake. It gives me that crunchy, chewy sense I crave. It is my failure. Maybe I'll try the chocolate pound cake.

    My favorite are the fruit cake,carrot cake and the lemon cake that I make very often,with lemons from our lemon tree!

  12. Ginger and anything chocolate are always my favorites. I'm so glad you posted some low carb alternatives. I have a crazy sweet tooth and it gets completely out of hand during the holidays. Thank you for giving me some healthier alternatives! Love and hugs!
