Beautiful Blue Sea and Sky and some ice cream - low carb of course !

Regular readers may remember my recent post 'Blue Beautiful Blue ... and some low carb blueberry ice cream', which can be seen here

Well, our son has sent through another fabulous scene. Once again it was taken while out enjoying an hours exercise (allowed in the current coronavirus situation) and fortunate to live by the sea … can't you just breath in that wonderful sea air !

Well on such a wonderful blue skies sunny day, perhaps it was time for some low carb lemon ice cream! Definitely yummy … more details here

Thinking about ice cream; have you tried this Vanilla Ice Cream? It's sugar free and low carb! Please see more details here

Dear reader, this blog is presented in a magazine style - we hope something for everyone. You will find a variety of articles, studies, thoughts, photographs, music and recipes! However, not all the recipes ideas featured in this blog may be suitable for you. If you may have any food allergies, or underlying health issues these must always be taken into account. If you are a diabetic and not sure how certain foods may affect your blood sugars, test is best, i.e. use your meter.

One more thing! In the present situation I send all readers my good wishes. Please do your best to take what you can from each day … however large or small that may be … I'm just going to enjoy a cuppa, why not virtually join me.

All the best Jan

  3. It is snowing here. It is not suppose to do that in MAy. So I look at that great photo and wish it was here. And then I would like some ice cream.

It may sound strange, but I eat icecream mainly in winter. Your lemon, yellow icecream
    looks very inviting!

  24. would love to visit that beach.
In Sweden we can go out as we please as long as there are no large groups. We have the 2m distance rule. But I live in the inland and has no gorgeous ocean beach to visit :(

  31. I'm about to have myself some ice cream...not home-made, of course!

I used to make ice cream years ago when I cooked in restaurants...now I'm just too damned lazy to make it just for me! :)

    Keep taking good care. :)

  32. That is a gorgeous seaside picture, I wish more of our parks would open up! I can just imagine the sand beneath my feet and the sounds of waves crashing in, and topping it all off with Ice cream, how wonderful!
You are so right we need not take our lives for granted anymore, don't know how long that will last but hopefully for some time to come!
