Enjoy your weekend !

Yes, it's Saturday once more, the start of the weekend, although some may say the weekend starts on a Friday night! Have you any plans? We have a small family get-together planned, which I am really looking forward to, I just hope the weather stays dry, but we shall see!

I think many may have a sporty weekend, with the Wimbledon Tennis Finals and the European Football Finals being televised! Out shopping recently sales of Pimms, strawberries and beer seemed to be going well, plus ingredients for BBQ's. Whatever your plans are I wish you a good weekend.

    My weekends consist of Saturdays to myself during the summer months when Mick's out at cricket, though I'm not 100% sure the rain will hold off today. That ice-cream looks delicious, my blueberries are just beginning to ripen.

    Hi Jan, I have no plans this weekend our 5 day forecast is for thunderstorms daily,...so just regular life is happening. I love blueberries, and we have a wild variety that grows with small berries, mostly the birds get them they are not like the cultured berries we see in stores, and not very tasty and would be a waste of time trying to pick. Im going to check that recipe tho...hope your get together is fun. TC

    Hi Jan :) I DO love ice cream. I actually have an ice cream maker that I should pull out soon. I hope you enjoy your weekend! For me the "weekend" is Monday to Friday because that's when the weekenders are not around and it's so lovely and quiet around here! :)

    It's a hot weekend here and ice cream sounds delicious. I usually have a tub of coffee almond fudge in the freezer. Today, however, I had iced coffee which was refreshing as well. Are you cheering for England in tomorrow's game? It will be interesting to see whether Italy will be beaten.

    The ice cream looks delicious but I am not sure I would eat it as it has raw eggs in there. Although our eggs are pasturised so I know theyy should be ok I don't like eggs enough! Have a great weekend :)
