Another blast from the past. First posted August 2011

My diet of death, perfect for all, diabetics and non diabetics.

Tonight's grub ! Bacon Lardons, mixed leaf lettuce, tomatoes, celery, beetroot. mushrooms, olive oil and seasoning. Followed by black berries, blue berries, kiwi fruit and double cream. Very low carb and delicious. Get your kids eating this sort of food and they will not become obese, they will not become a type two diabetic, and they will get all the nutrients and calories they need for a healthy life !

Remember this low carb diet is a killer say most dietitians and carb addicted nay sayers. Others say people can’t keep to it long term. I know countless diabetics, type one and two, who have kept to the diet for years, and the best news, hardly any have suffered a complication, all are active and well, all on minimal or nil (type two’s only) diabetes medication.

Small amounts of as many different whole foods you can find. Eat the colors of the rainbow works for us.

For diabetics the BG meter is the governor.

OMG - that doc is probably asking for a revolt by those kids at some point! They will go beserk when let loose! Some education from parents does not result in all kids eating sugar +++ but would like to see what they are like in 10 years when they are teenagers!!

Hello anon, I think you may have meant your comment for the post concerning Octonauts, cucumbers and low carb snacks!

You may like to read the comments and other views received on this post. At the risk of being repetitive (which I'm going to be) I would say "The world is far from perfect and we can only guide and educate as best we can. What an adult chooses to do is still their choice." But I would hope an informed adult would do their utmost to see their child(ren) get off to the best start that parent is able to give them.

If you would like to see what the Diet Doctor Andreas Eenfeldt says please use the link provided in the 'Octanaut and Cucumber post.

Many thanks for reading our blog, which I hope you find informative for living the LCHF lifestyle.

All the best Jan
