If you are just starting a low carb diet/lifestyle you may feel confused with which low carb flours to use. You may never have used any of them before and how to use them properly can be daunting. If that is the case then Libby at 'Ditch The Carbs' site has a very good guide, and you can read it here

...good information to know.
My wife is the baker in the family and she makes a first rate lemon poppy seed cake, which goes well with mid morning coffee. I will pass these recipes in to her and see what she thinks.
Which one is my favourite you ask? All of them lol,,,
I love my daily square of rich, chewy, chocolate cake. It gives me that crunchy, chewy sense I crave. It is my failure. Maybe I'll try the chocolate pound cake.
Those cakes look amazing!
Hello Jan!
My favorite are the fruit cake, carrot cake and the lemon cake that I make very often, with lemons from our lemon tree!
Thank you for sharing those wonderful recipes!Have a joyful afternoon!
Dimi...
You made me have an ordinary wee bit of Lebkuchen from ALDI!
Why ever I bought that (I actually don´t like sweets, but with Christmas arriving...).
How to choose? Lemon, if I must though I'm sure I will try them all.
Thank you, Jan!!
Lemon cake! Good old lemon cake would be my choice!

Ginger and anything chocolate are always my favorites. I'm so glad you posted some low carb alternatives. I have a crazy sweet tooth and it gets completely out of hand during the holidays. Thank you for giving me some healthier alternatives! Love and hugs!
I don't think it occurred to me that one could have cake with cappuccino as its key ingredient.
Very useful information! And lots of good recipes.
I would love to try the lemon pound cake recipe, Jan. I've been on a low carb diet for 6 weeks now and would really like to have something as a treat with a cup of tea. Thank you for the valuable information you provide. ♥
The cakes look delicious.
They all look good. I generally go for carrot cake, but I may have to experiment further.
