If you are meticulous about what wine you choose, then it usually works out great.

This was very informative. I usually get vodka tonic thinking it was low in carbs. I had no idea that tonic has so many carbs. I'll be ordering vodka and soda water from now on! thank.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE
Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery and may cause health problems if consumed in excess. Note that on a low carb diet you might need significantly less alcohol to get intoxicated. Women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy.
Also be aware that if you are on medication it is always best to check there are no contraindications with alcohol.

It's interesting how many things we forget have carbs. It's always good to have a reminder. :) Happy new week Jan.

I don't have a problem. I don't like the taste of alcohol, or how it makes me feel after a half glass of wine.

Interesting point about the occasional glass of dry white or red wine. Thank you for sharing the guide's link.

Don't drink these days but when I did I didn't like wine. My drink of choice was Sake. I guess that's a rice wine! But regular wine no and not Prosecco either, so many like it! Give me Shloer instead!

I haven't drank since my early 20's. Hubby hasn't in many years either, guess we just went away from it, saves money anyway :)
