Ministers are scrapping a legal requirement stipulating how much outside space each school must provide for their pupils, and replacing it with non-binding guidance.
The disclosure threatens to undermine David Cameron’s pledge to boost competitive school sport to build on the success of the Olympic Games.
“The Government has already sold off 21 playing fields — parents want reassurances that these changes won’t allow more to be sold off. If we are to ensure the Olympic legacy, the Government must ensure schools provide a decent amount of space for competitive sports and play.”
This lying and corrupt Government will sell their own mothers for profit. Don't believe one word they say. It's money first and last with these pigs at the trough.

What is it with this government and the powers that be? Words almost fail me. After the success and feel good factor of the Olympics and everyone seemingly in agreement to encourage sport surely we all must do our utmost to ensure the Olympic legacy will continue. That must mean space, facilities, teachers, instructors for play, competitive sports etc. And yes keeping up with the spending and facilities not selling off space.
