No, I am not referring to Lisbeth Salander the tough as nails heroine in the book and film The Girl That Kicked The Hornets Nest, I’m talking about Claire at diabetes.co.uk. In an ocean of stupidity and bullshit at the forum of flog, Claire shines out like a beacon for common sense. She has reversed her type two diabetes, lost a lot of weight and is now medication free. As predicted in my earlier post, it did not take long for the flack to start. douglas99 a sort of Sid Bonkers apprentice and vying for a forum court jesters job said.
“So you don't actually eat what you have put up there as a recommendation to others?
You're actually on a veggie diet? And that's what you lost the weight on?”
Followed by Claire.
"Why are your comments giving off this troll vibe? It's interesting. As an author who's outed all the major trolls on Amazon, I'm looking forward to see what I can expose in the food industry next. -studies you closely-
I don't eat meat. I eat everything else in my list and listed meat in case the new member was a meat eater. I create recipes for both diets because my fiancé does eat meat and is also on a low carb diet. I believe there are also thousands of low carb dieters who can attest to how good meat is for someone on a low carb diet. It doesn't have any carbs in it. So not to be rude, but what exactly is your point?"
douglas99 swiftly headed for the nearest exit. Will the lowcarb antis fight back, who will pick up the gauntlet ? this thread ain’t finished yet, mark my words, it’s gonna get interesting.

This post will be updated as and when the bun fight commences.

Hey diddle diddle the cat and the fiddle!
Oh how I wish the tune would change at DCUK, but no it doesn't.
The cow jumped over the moon, the little dog laughed to see such fun and the dish ran away with the spoon!
Only trouble is the low carb anti's as you call them have too big a spoon in the carbs.
That dish, the way DCUK show their plate, has too many carbohydrates shown!
This woman is feisty! Perhaps she'll give them a run for their money. No one needs to follow her kind advice if they don't want to, but it's good stuff all the same and may help someone.
