A great comedy actor passes on way too young. This guy had me rolling on the floor laughing on so many occasions. Did he have most politicians weighed up or what ! That so many people can quote his famous monologues 20-30 years later says a lot, I think, and one of the reasons the 80's were so great.
"Did you see that? Did you? The voice of youth! They were still wearing flared trousers! Why don't you try a bit of poetry you hippies!"
