Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Hi Jan. If you could get my grandkids to eat that happy ( or any) salad I would be eternally grateful. Adios from Menorca.
We just had an almighty thunderclap!
Grandchildren are wonderful, yours look like lots of fun Jan, bet they keep you on your toes :) I'm expecting my second in early June, can't wait. Happy weekend.
They are such beautiful children! What joy they must bring you!
They are darling, Jan! They must be so much fun and completely worth concocting a salad that's fun too.
A bundle of cuteness each and every one of them.
What a fun meal the monkey face is, a real selection of different flavours and textures for the children to try.

Many thanks to you all for your comments. The grand-children are a joy ...
Food served in a fun way can often encourage 'kids' to try something different. If you do want them to try something new, it is often better to encourage one new taste at a time, and not to make a great fuss if they don't eat it. Keep trying to encourage a healthy way of eating. These articles from Libby at Ditch The Carbs are great 'Low Carb Kids' http://www.ditchthecarbs.com/kids/ - why not have a look!
All the best Jan
I didn't realize you had five grandchildren, Jan. Kids love the Zoo. I just went there for my birthday, and my grown kids loved it. I'll post about it tomorrow. I bet your grandkids loved spending time there.
