Now it's the weekend again (don't they come round quickly), and as one of the grandchildren mentioned to me, there are only six weekends 'til Christmas! Is it me or has this year flown by? I've started doing a little Christmas shopping, but still have more to do.
Anyway back to the weekend ... on todays post I share three meals that you may wish to try for lunch, dinner or supper! If you should be carb. conscious the sausage recipe has 25 carbs per serving, the chicken one 14 carbs per serving and the vegetable one 35... but of course you can check the details out on the links given.
You will find a variety of recipe ideas within this blog, and it is important to note, not all may be suitable for you. If you may have any food allergies, or underlying health issues these must always be taken into account. If you are a diabetic and not sure how certain foods may affect your blood sugars, test is best, i.e., use a reliable meter. If you have any concerns about your health, it is always advisable to consult your doctor or health care team.
All the best Jan

They all look delicious, but I think I would enjoy the vegetarian stew the most - yum! This year has definitely flown by in a flash.
Dear Jan, all of these dishes look scrumptious 😋
...the Sausage and Bean Casserole wiuld be my choice.
Sausage and beans sound good - Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
Gracias por la receta. Te mando un beso.
Oooh - I have to try the Sausage and bean casserole. Flying Jacob is such an unusual name. I have to check that one out too.
Dang, Jan. All of these look good.
That chicken stew looks great!
sausage and beans sounds good for sunday...game day!! YuM!!!
It's raining here too, and quite stormy today, so I'm doing a lot of crafting and painting.
The three dishes are delicious, thanks for the recipes!
I wish you a relaxing weekend!
Best regards, Elke

Lindo fim de semana!

Won't be long and it will be Christmas again, Jan. Nice looking meals.
The Flying Jacob sounds great! On the list! "Sadly" Ingo will this weekend make his super-yum steak with mushrooms and a childhood-dish, spinach with mashed potatoes and fried egg. He eats again - yippie, and cooks.
I'd have the Flying Jacob just for the name!
That vegetarian strew seems delicious and well balanced.
I Hope the storm will not damage British countryside and villages.
Sausage and beans is my favourite.
God bless.
This is wonderful winter food!
It certainly is casserole, stew, and soup weather here.
Excellent dish
This year has flown by. We'll need to t'ak' a cup o' kindness' before long.
All those dishes look delicious. Xx
I like the looks of that vegetarian stew!
Belle queste ricette.
Considerato che sono un po' malaticcia, sicuramente l' ultima è sicuramente più adatta per questo fine settimana.
The stew sounds great :-D
This year has definitely flown by! Claudia missed us, which is fine with me.
All of those look delicious!
Sausage and Bean Casserole - I never thought of that - looks delish!
The vegetarian stew looks amazing, thank you!
They all look good.
The first one is the one for me!! Yummy
Always wonderful recipes here ~ thanks and hugs,
Happy Weekend to you , (carol and ziggy)
We have had very warm weather this weekend, so have really enjoyed having the doors open probably for the last time this season. Hope everyone made it through the storm well. They are getting some hard rains and flooding iin California.
My favourite has to be the Flying Jacob. I looked up the link and it looks a great recipe. What a fabulous name for the meal. I did like the other two recipes too.
Here in Portugal, where I am at the moment "Claudia" brought a lot of damages from north to south. Have a great week Jan.
Sorry for the storm dear friend
I liked all the recipes 🤗♥️
The grandkids always know when Christmas is. LOL Wonderful recipes.
I like the vegetarian stew because it is a slow cooker one, but the sausage casserole would be my second choice, Jan.
Gracias por las recetas, seguro que están buenísimas. Besos.
