I am sure it is more usual to wish readers a happy day, and a happy weekend, with a bouquet of flowers. However, I thought these vegetables looked so lovely that I'd offer you a basketful - virtually speaking of course! I think we may be enjoying some lettuce in a nice salad over the weekend, although that aubergine/eggplant looks good doesn't it! Have you a favourite vegetable?

Beautiful vegetable picture! I like them all, but don't buy/use them all, only favorite ones.
I do eat veggies from time to time, but not a fan of them. Veggies and fruit are overrated. Haven't touched any fruit for more than 5 years..my husband on the contrary eats lots of fruit and veggies.
They do indeed look lovely.
Sadly my partner and one of my brothers are both averse to vegies. Tomatoes, potatoes and onions have been award 'honorary meat' status but it is a challenge to get them to eat anything else.
So pretty and healthy! I do love red peppers at the moment, but it would have to compete with sweet potato and butternut squash. Thanks for the link! Hope you have a relaxing weekend. x K

Those Veggies look great..and you can eat them..Can't eat flowers, well, most anyway.

I love vegetables, but, of course, being a VEGE man.
Veggies are just as beautiful as flowers! When we had a farm share in Maine, I used to take photos of everything we got each week and it was always lovely. Hope you are having a peaceful Sunday.
