On dry, sunny, warm days ....

A few days this week we have been out and about enjoying some good weather. Dry, sunny and pleasantly warm … unlike today which has been wet more than dry with some areas of the UK experiencing flash-flooding and even snow!!!

one day we enjoyed a short stroll along the cliff-top, the view was amazing.
that's the Isle of Wight with the Needles in the photograph
there is something calming about being by the sea

another day we saw this pond outside a garden centre
it was good to see so many different fish in it

and then I was in pink heaven -
regular readers will know pink is my favourite colour,
so just had to get a photograph of this pink planter

Vanilla Ice Cream : Sugar Free and Low Carb
Of course, on a nice sunny day nothing says summer like a scoop of creamy, oh-so-delicious ice cream. Make your scoop satisfying, simple, and sugar free with this low carb/keto version!
You could also add a few low carb berries, strawberries are nice!

Lovely photos. I miss the sea here, but at least I have the Rhine! Crazy weather here, too - floods in the south and we just got a sprinkling of rain and the drought continues....Have a great day, Valerie

oh for the days we can return to a garden centre and sit in the outdoors café eating ice cream - the things we took for granted before cv19. Your ice cream recipe looks delicious, might take a look, especially as I do have a new freezer to put things in :) thanks for all the recipes you give, although I am a lazy cook and don't make them I do like looking and I have learned a lot about diabetic diet along the way (hubby is type 2)

Sounds like some nice weather to be out. I enjoyed your photos! Snow - wow, even here in the mountains that doesn't happen in June ...as long as I've lived here.
