An essential amino acid or indispensable amino acid is an amino acid that cannot be synthesized de novo (from scratch) by the organism, and thus must be supplied in its diet. The nine amino acids humans cannot synthesize are phenylalanine, valine, threonine, tryptophan, methionine, leucine, isoleucine, lysine, and histidine. From Wiki here. Chart from here.

When my husband travels I nearly always have an egg for dinner!
Have a lovely Saturday,
jemma
I adore eggs!!!! fried, scrambled or poached or a yummy omelette!!! In Indonesia, it was a real indulgence to get a fried egg ontop of my fried rice or noodles or Cap Jai, as well as the egg was that mixed into the veg! such tastiness!!x
Hello Jemma
Yes, eggs can be enjoyed at any time of day can't they, and don't take long to make a delicious snack or larger meal ...
Wishing you a great Saturday too
All the best Jan
Hello Kezzie
Eggs are always in our house, to be enjoyed simply or a little more indulgently!
I always enjoy hearing about your times and foods eaten when in Indonesia.
I do hope you are having a good weekend
All the best Jan
Always knew there was a good reason I love eggs. They are very versatile.
Interesting. I don't tolerate soy so I guess I need to eat eggs frequently.
Memo to deranged troll
I told you only one in a hundred of your comments gets authorised. 30 last week all deleted, 70 to go and you get one through. Keep glued to our blog so many great articles. And so chuffed you still hang on my every word. That's what I call loyalty. You are my number one fan for sure.

I'm thankful the world has many eggs
