In all established and moral societies, the worst crime a man can commit is the murdering of children. The punishment is life imprisonment, and that often means all of natural life ! in some countries the death penalty. It occurs to me, it’s how you kill children that separates crime from the big earner. Obviously if weapons are used or strangulation, it’s a clear cut case. But what about poisoning ! What if you are a multi-national food company such as Nestle or Unilever, and you spend hundreds of millions of pounds per year, on advertising and public relations and lobbying corrupt politicians ? selling poison to children via their poorly informed parents. Poison that will lead to obesity, heart disease and an early death.
I have just watched a program on channel 4 called The Myths Of The Five A Day. Basically the same information illustrated in the series of programs called The Men Who Made Us Fat. Yet another expose on how multi-national food companies lie, misconstrue and will use any trick in the book to convince you their adulated junk is healthy food.
Some examples of real five a day food below. If the big food outfits have been near it, it’s probably poison and not food. I look forward to hearing from Nestle et al.

Yes, I watched this last night. What also struck me was the percentage of people that just don't eat fresh fruit and vegetables. Not even tinned fruit or veg. Harping back to what I still call 'good old fashioned values' when parents did seem to provide a more rounded plate of food on their children's plates, well the parents, friends I knew did, perhaps not the same for everyone.
It still needs more eye opening articles and information out there which has not been meddled with or tarnished with false information. It sure is an uphill struggle.
We live in a totally corrupt world. A fruit product with 1% fruit and 60% added sugar is classed as part of your five a day. These cereal and other killers don’t give a monkeys for children’s health and exploit poor people all over the world for raw materials. It was ever thus but now we know and slowly, very slowly the word is getting around.

Fruit isn't all it is cracked up to be when one consider the effects of fructose especially on an already damaged liver

What liver damage has occurred in a healthy active child following a good diet with minimal high carb/starch or factory produced food ?

Thick parents are a major part of the problem too.
