Nuts such as macadamias, almonds, walnuts, Brazil's - and you don‘t need too many of them to fill that gap!
Cheese cut up some cheese such as cheddar, always great to have in the fridge, but you may prefer Double Gloucester as a change. There are endless and very tasty varieties out there!
Olives are a good stand by too.
Celery sticks are such a great crunch.
Pepper sticks my favourites are the red ones.
Cucumber so refreshing, the grandchildren often enjoy a few slices as a snack.
Of course if you'd like to make a tasty snack more presentable and adventurous, how about one of these suggestions!

Looks good Jan. I love hummous :-D
Cheese, olives, eggs, avocados! I could live on these. To me, the would be a meal, not snacks.
I am being tested for lactose intolerance. If they tell me I can no longer eat cheese I will go into a funk from which I will never recover!
That little pot is a wonderful way to display and serve hummus!
They are look nice but the carrot patch looks super cute.
Die Avocado-Hummus Rohkost ist genau das , was ich besonders gern esse. Manchmal abgewandelt, aber immer gut. Das Karotten-Hummus kannte ich bisher nicht. Ich werde es ausprobieren.

Avocado hummus is exactly what I love to eat raw. Sometimes I adapt it, but it's always good. I hadn't tried carrot hummus before. I'll have to give it a go.

Hello David
I hope the test goes well ... the result of which you must be guided by your Doctor/medical team.
However, it is my understanding that you may still be able to eat/tolerate certain cheeses.
Have a read of this article, which you I hope you find helpful.
13 Cheeses You Can Eat Even If You're Lactose-Intolerant

But again I would stress it is important to discuss the results of your tests and any treatment or dietary requisites with your medical team.
All the best Jan
I like all those snack except olives.
These sound delicious, nutritious, and an excellent choice for those with special dietary needs. I love the ideas for an Easter charcuterie board too. Shalom!
