The 'Ber' Months Are Getting Closer

image from google

Yes, the 'Ber' months are getting closer, and I do like them all.
September, October, November and December, they each offer different things.

Perhaps it's just me... or do you also find that as the calendar tells us it's soon to be September, something magical begins to happen? In the Northern Hemisphere the colours begin to alter and take on their Autumnal hues, whereas in the Southern Hemisphere spring flowers may begin to appear. The seasons offer so much variety, and for me my two favourite ones are Autumn and Spring.

Of course, that doesn't mean that I dislike Summer and Winter, although I have not enjoyed the very hot weather and the wild fires many have experienced this summer and rumours abound that with the strange weather patterns we may get extra snow this winter! Time will tell!

For the time being enjoy the remainder of August.

All the best Jan

Hi Jan, I love ❤️ the 'ber' months. I do love Winter and the snow ❄️ I do not like the ice, though. The temperature is usually milder when it snows, meaning less chance of ice.

I am so ready for the "Ber" months. Unfortunately, all my Fall decorations are buried in the back of the storage unit and I'm not able to lift things out myself anymore, so the kids will have to come and dig them out for me. Not going to do the "big" decorating I usually do...But enough to feel like FALL.

The 'ber' months are my favourites, but I also love summer. We've had a lovely one this year. No rain at all, which was bad for the wildfires, but mostly pleasant temperatures. I always feel a bit nostalgic as August ends.

I really like the bear months, especially the first 3. And December too, but sometimes it's very wintery. I just can't believe we are approaching them so quickly. Happy new week to you!

I love the "ber" months! I hadn't changed out the decor from spring/summer yet and one day last week I just couldn't handle looking at spring/summer any longer and put it all away and started putting out bits of autumn decor. My two favorite seasons of the year are also spring and autumn. I'm still in the preserving produce mode here but I'm hoping that by the end of August I will be able to pack the canners away. As long as I am canning and freezing produce in my mind it's still summer, but my heart is happy when it changes to autumn. xx

Jan, I hope there won't be too much snow, since here in Slovenia they aren't promising any, they say it will be a mild winter... let's be surprised :))

Yes it does, I can already feel the changes. It's like someone has automatically flipped a switch :) Like you, my two favorite months are Autumn and Spring. I don't mind winter either but the heat and humidity of the summer literally makes me feel awful. So, I wish you a happy end to August, and a marvelous September/Autumn :) All the best, Denise

Hello,
I do not mind the fall weather, it is nice to see the colorful Autumn leaves. I do not like winter at all. Take care, enjoy your day!
