I see the latest funster and wind up merchant at DCUK wants out. This is a pity as I was forecasting much merriment in the future from Mireille.
“Most websites have an easy way for people to de-register, which is not a complex thing, if they so choose. This site seems to lack that facility which is obviously an oversight in the design. When will the site administrators be providing this option?”
Swiftly followed up by a joker who said.
“Start advertising kitchens, they'll soon delete you from the list of users”
Say what you like about the forum of flog, but jeez, it has provided us diabetics with a lot of laughs over the years. Hotel California seems appropriate. Eddie

Of course you can't leave. That's why they have the ridiculous membership numbers.
All joking aside, apart from the occasional short term visitor wanting to make an impression, lowcarbing does seem to be generally accepted on DCUK now, far more so than it used to be. The anti's seem to be sidelined.
I put that down to the sterling work done by Daibell and Ian D and others who have continued to advise both T1s and T2s to use low carbing as part of diabetes management, and continue to do so on a daily basis.
All credit to the "lowcarb warriors" who face challengers head on, but these people working daily to enforce the message, deserve a great deal of respect too. They certainly have mine.

Daibell and IanD,Two very knowledgeable and helpful members who are a real credit to the forum and fellow diabetics in general.

Yes, agree 100%, fantastic long term stalwarts. Let’s not forget Hana, Wiflib, Dillinger plus all those others, although not named, do a fantastic job. What a pity so many of the great ones called it a day a long time ago. We will keep on spreading the good low carb news.
Regards Eddie
Just to add that the Hotel California should not be confused with the Hotel Caledonia, although they may sound quite similar, one establishment is still enjoying a large turnover despite the odd unsavoury class of clientele that checks in from time to time which is 'Par for the course' in the service industry whilst the other is as quiet as the 'Bates Motel' during Norman's 22 years of incarceration.
