A/Prof. Ken Sikaris - 'Cholesterol - When to Worry'
Summary: Cholesterol is good; LDL is normally good; modified LDL is bad; SD LDL/glycated/oxidised; easy fixed by LCHF Read more here: http://highsteaks.com/ Graham
Thanks for the link, that's a useful breakdown especially the notion that trigs are a good predictor of SDLDL. I live in a part of the world where the lipid panel just reports 'LDL'. They don't even measure it, they estimate it by some magical formula from the other indicators so it is even less relevant. They put the samples in one end of the machine and the numbers come out at the other end. High LDL gets you a mark of 'displidaemia' which you can't disagree with ie it's the usual load of bo$$ox.
I'll print Ken's summary and give it to my GP. He'll roll his eyes and look away and then start talking about lifestyle change.
I totally agree, but the points could easily be stated in a clearer fashion, thats all I was saying. No prob here bro, Im not that uptight about it. much about this subject. So much so that you made me want to learn more about it. Your blog is my stepping stone, my friend. Thanks for the heads up on this subject. <a href=//legosforgirls.info/ After reading some of the comments on this blog, Id have to say Im in agreement with the majority. http://www.healthcaresups.com/spartagen-xt-exposed/
