Pulled pork, usually shoulder cut (sometimes referred to as mixed cuts), is commonly slow-cooked by a smoking method, though a non-barbecue method might also be employed using a slow cooker or a domestic oven. In rural areas across the United States, either a pig roast/whole hog, mixed cuts of the pig/hog, or the shoulder cut (Boston Butt) alone are commonly used, and the pork is served with or without a vinegar-based sauce. Before cooking, it is common to soak the meat in brine; it provides the extra moisture needed for a long, slow cooking process.
This recipe suggestion is from Anne Aobadia at Diet Doctor site, she says ... savoury pulled pork is always tender. Roasted tomatoes are always full of flavour. Avocado hummus is always creamy. Put all three on a plate, and you have satisfaction guaranteed ...

I'm happy pulled pork is so popular here! You can even get pulled pork poutine! (Not that I eat it...)
I was sure you'd like my nice veggies. Local farms are wonderful.
Looks so good!

Cilandro is one of the herbs I grow in my little vegetable garden.

pulled pork is wonderful stuff
Always a good choice (pulled pork) on a restaurant menu to help one stay on track with the diet when dining out.
I bet it would make the house smell good, too..........
This looks and sounds delicious!
I have never tried pulled pork, so this is definitely one to try.
Many thanks.:)
Have a Great Day!
Hello, this looks delicious. I would love the tomatoes and the pork, yum!
Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week ahead!
...looks mighty good.
Hmmm, no I did NOT know cilantro and coriander come from the same plant. Oddly enough, my hubby and I don't care for cilantro, but I use coriander quite frequently.
I make pulled pork every once in a while, and it's quite a production, what with the brining, making and resting in the rub, slooooooooow cooking, cool-down period and pulling. (But it's totally worth it!)
That looks so good! I like pulled pork.
That looks very tasty !! I like the colorful salads!
Greetings
This sounds wondrous. Faux pork for me:)

I am drooling! Thanks Jan!
I like a meal you can just throw in the slow cooker and let it get on with cooking itself.
