The 'Ber' Months Are Coming

image from google

Yes, the 'Ber' months are getting closer, and I do like them all.
September, October, November and December, they each offer different things.

Perhaps it's just me... or do you also find that as the calendar tells us it's soon to be September, something magical begins to happen? In the Northern Hemisphere the colours begin to alter and take on their Autumnal hues, whereas in the Southern Hemisphere spring flowers may begin to appear. The seasons offer so much variety, and for me my two favourite ones are Autumn and Spring. Of course, that doesn't mean that I dislike Summer and Winter... just that they are not my favourite!

All the best Jan

I also like Spring and Fall best, but especially Spring because it's the end of the long winter!

Wow, that’s awesome! Unfortunately, my country doesn’t have four seasons like you do for example, autumn, spring, summer, and winter. Indonesia only has two main seasons: the rainy season and the dry season. We never get snow, although it can sometimes be found on the highest mountains, which is perfectly normal.

For me personally, I have never been abroad since I was a child. Most of what I know about other countries is from YouTube. I really wish I could touch and feel snow in my hands one day. This is one of the strongest reasons why I’m learning English so hard because who knows, maybe I’ll get the opportunity to travel abroad someday. I hope so, and I truly believe it will happen

I too like autumn and spring best, although March (the beginning of spring down under) is always very windy.

Hi Jan, I saw Denise's post as I follow her blog. Great 👍 post. My favourite seasons are Winter and Autumn...in that order. I can only imagine the groans of some after they read what my favourite seasons are.

My daffodils are blooming and have been for awhile. Notice when out a couple of days ago the Magnolias were in full bloom, ours isn't yet.

Each season is special and has its charms, but I suppose I like spring best, when everything is new and full of promise.

I love the fall but it's too short a season for us before we start getting a lot of rainfall. Enjoy the season's colours.

Hello,
I like the cooler weather, but not the snow and ice in the winter months.
I do enjoy seeing the colorful trees in the fall.
Take care, Happy Friday! Have a great day and a happy weekend.

I think the "Ber" months are among my favorite months of the year! I love everything about them...including the snow (as long as I get to stay inside). :)

I LOVE autumn and spring too. But also winter. Summer isn't bad, though not my overall fave. The number one spot goes to FALLLLLLLL!

It wasn't a great summer here, for many reasons. I'm hoping we have good weather for Autumn and happier times.

Hi Jan - You are so great to stop by today and leave me a comment on my first post in over a month. I left you a reply on the blog ... hope you will take a look. Your post today makes me smile. The BER months. I will always remember when I was dining at a restaurant in Seattle and enjoying the oysters on the half shell. The waiter told me the best months for oysers were the BER months. 😊 The time was December and yes, the oysers were tasty. Thank you for sharing your blog! Happy SeptemBER to you! John
