Let’s get one thing straight from the start, I am sure I am not fit to clean Albert’s shoes. As a trained engineer I fully agree with thread title, keep things simple and going in the opposite direction! The opposite direction to what is recommended by the majority of medical professionals, and the best way to control type two diabetes. Does it take the intellect of Albert Einstein to realise high carb food is not the best way to control type two diabetes ? Does it take a genius to realise the foods that raise blood sugar levels and lead to grim complications should be avoided ?
Maybe I am a genius after all. Off to the Pub.

For a white wine spritzer, I trust, not a pint of barley-rich bitter.
A bottle of Rioja, it is Saturday night after all.

'a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction'
Thank goodness there are quite a few courageous diabetics who have gone in the opposite direction to the usual, and thank goodness for blogs like this one to show the way.
Keep on, we're doing it right.

I reckon it's the HCP's who are the courageous ones Josh.
