Green Smoothie ... it's Low Carb, Keto ... Quick, Healthy and Easy !



Libby at Ditch the Carbs site says:
Why not start your day with a quick and easy keto (low carb) green smoothie. Easy, healthy and a fresh lovely mint taste to disguise the kale and green veggies... but use other vegetables if preferred! 

Ingredients: 
Serves Two
1 tbsp. chia seeds
125 ml coconut cream
125 ml unsweetened yoghurt
250 ml almond milk or coconut milk
1/2 avocado
2 cups chopped leafy greens *see notes
4 tbsp. fresh mint leaves
3 ice cubes
peppermint essence optional - to taste

granulated sweetener of choice optional - to taste

that smoothie looks so so healthy. I didn't know those flow-ers were named Snowdrops. I saw some at an air BNB last year and even took their photo but didn't know the name.

This looks good but I just don't know if I could drink it...LOL The hubster and I do a protein shake every day but have never included anything green! :-) Have a great one! Hugs!

Green drink never appeal to me but this does have a lot of my favourite things in it

We have a few snowdrops in our garden but they aren't growing as well as usual

That does sound tasty. I often start the day with a smoothie. Mine, and this may sound strange, usually consists of banana, baby-leaf spinach and almonds. Sometimes I chuck in a bit if vegan yogurt just for good measure.
