Mashed swede is just the right sort of vegetable on these lovely Autumnal Days. It goes superbly with the humble sausage but tastes equally delicious with a nice piece of chicken, pork just about anything. But you know the best thing about it is when you mix in/melt some butter with it,it just tastes divine. With halloween and bonfire night coming up we often enjoy some bangers and mash (swede) for supper. Just pop the sausages in the oven have your swede ready prepared so all you have to do is pop it in the microwave. Enjoy a nice evening with family and friends and supper almost takes care of itself.
