Don't tell me he's using "Ishmael" as a troll name?
Captain Ken
Ken was the Moderator of the D.CO.UK, a grave older man reaching his sixties who has spent nearly forty years as a Moderator, only three of which he has spent outside his bedroom. The novel is essentially the story of Ken and his quest to defeat the legendary low-carb diabetic Moby Dick, for this diabetic took Ken’s Moderator’s post, causing him to use a ghost forum to pass the lonely hours. Ken is a dour, imposing man who frightens his Clique through his unwavering obsession with defeating Moby Dick and his grand hubris. In many respects Melville portrays Ken as barely human, barely governed by human mores and conventions and nearly entirely subject to his own obsession with Moby Dick. Melville describes him in mostly alien terms: Ken is a spectral figure haunting diabetics’ dreams and existing in a place away from the living. He is in some ways a machine, unaffected by human appetites and without recognizable emotion. And most importantly, he claims himself a God over the D.CO.UK, but instead he may be a Satanic figure through his somewhat blasphemous quest against the white whale.
With Apologies To Melville

No I believe my allusion of Ken to Ishmael is the better one. Ishmael was the biblical son of Abraham and his servant Hagar. He was disowned in favour of Isaac, Abraham’s son with his wife Sarah. An angel prophesied to Hagar. “his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him.” (Genesis 16:12). The name “Ishmael” has since become used commonly for an outcast, which is appropriate since Ken is inexperienced when it comes to diabetics and is viewed as an outcast to the other posters upon the D.CO.UK
Now don’t be mean, Ken has other friend besides Albert. There’s Angeleyes, Wrunkelt, Silver Fox, Cugila, etc.

Don't forget Kamon and the Hilarious Highlanders!!..Ken reminds me of the Tv show 'Quantum leap' 'cos you never know who he's going to be next week either!!:D
Sue said "hope he catches something" So do I! Nothing too trivial I hope.
Eddie
Yes, lots of pretend friends. But will that stop him playing with himself?
It might calm him down a bit !
Who knows?
Who ever you are a bit of fresh air can work wonders.

Got to hand it to you, another good cartoon, it made me chuckle (probably not Ken though)

Yes,they're excellent aren't they!! I always have a laugh and look forward to these!!:D I wonder if Ken will be back on here later with his usual standard of comebacks that we've seen of late? (Kids,Uncle Ken doesn't mean those naughty words,Honestly!!;D)

In footnote from sugarless sue
"I think his language was very restrained !
Restrained! can the bile he spouts get even worse.
Graham
"I think his language was very restrained !"
Bollocks!
What's Ken been up to now? Anyone got a link?
Cheers
"I think his language was very restrained ! If you ever have the misfortune to speak to me then you will realise just how diverse and colourful the English language can be."
So sugarless sue is even worse than Ken when it comes to using vile nasty and abusive languge, says a lot about her then.
Given the news regarding Ken's angling exploits do you think "FishingforSouls" (on d.co.uk) is another of his Trolls?
"FishingforSouls" cannot be Ken, that person was sane !
Eddie
Unless "Fishingforsouls" was actually Daisy1,quite appropriate with her tactics of personal messaging d.co.uk members to "see the light" and come with her to the land of 'Ken's Kingdom'! Crazier things have happened in the 'Crazy world of Diabetes'!
