Happy Friday Wishes ... enjoy some low carb Cheese Scones

Happy Friday and weekend wishes to you.
Why not take time to sit down and enjoy a
Cheese Scone, these are low carb.
Lovely to dunk in (low carb) soup, or can be enjoyed as a snack on their own,
or add some ham or bacon.
Recipe details can be seen here

A variety of recipe ideas are within this blog, but please note, not all may be suitable for you. If you may have any food allergies, or underlying health issues these must always be taken into account. If you are a diabetic and not sure how certain foods may affect your blood sugars, test is best, i.e. use your meter.

All the best Jan

These are just the scones for me, but without ham or bacon. I don't mix cheese (or dairy in general) with meat.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you so much, with cooler weather, I'm getting inspired to both cook and bake. And I love scones. Would love to find out how they taste made with cheese. Which I also love, cheese that is.

Hello Jan,:=) These scones do look good, thank you for the recipe. I still use my mother's recipe for scones, but will definitely try these, and eat them with a homemade soup.

I made these and cooked them on the stove in a heavy pan. They taste like doughnuts to me. They're great dunked in coffee!

Hello Lori, many thanks for your comment and feedback.
Your idea to cook them on a stove in a heavy pan sounds interesting, pleased you enjoyed them dunked in coffee.

I do enjoy a cheese scone dunked in soup, especially at this cooler time of year.

Wishing you a good new week, they certainly come round quickly.

All the best Jan

Even though I bake a lot, Jan, I watch my carbs and base my meals around them. Your cheese scones look fabulous! Thanks for sharing.
