I like the teapot and the cup and the little violets... and yes, I feel like baking cakes... having a happy cup of tea.
Many greetings to you and a hug. Viola
I do like a good ginger cake with lemon sauce on it.
Coffee is on and stay safe
A good combination.
So for tea you do not use a bag - how do you get the little spices out of the water?
Love gingerbread.
...I'll pass on the tea.
Ginger cake, a cup of tea, and some pretty spring flowers makes for not only a nice treat but a pretty place to enjoy those treats.
Gracias por la receta. Temando un beso.
Delicious cake and tea! -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
Beautiful teapot :-) Love ginger cake!
Pretty cool teapot setting here and I love my cuppa x
I would love to share a cuppa with you, but will pass on the cake. I only like ginger in savoury dishes.
The cake looks delicious.
Tea, love my cuppa in the morning and don't have a teapot anymore.
I used to have 1 teaspoon for each person but it 5 people 4 teaspoons, put the hot water in the pot with the tea, place the lid on top and turn the post around 3 times :)
The ginger cake looks great, could I please have a coffee with mine? Hugs, Valerie
Thanks for the recipe! Always looking for locarb sweets!
hugs
Donna
I do prefer coffee and the cake looks yummy!
Take care, have a great day!
I had to laugh at the tea poster. There is SUCH a debate over which should come first, the milk or the tea. Some say the milk so it has a chance to combine with the tea, others say if you use a delicate tea cup, adding the hot tea to the cold milk in the cup could break your delicate china. We in the states are less fussy about milk in tea and prefer lemon and/or sugar. The cake looks delicious.
Tea is really big here in Canada!
Oh my goodness that cake sounds delicious. I have all the ingredients too so I might just surprise my hubby and treat us both to a bit of homemade cake this weekend
this is absolutely tempting dear Jan :)
the crockery image is so pretty ,i liked her place so much

6 minutes is longer than I usually steep tea. Yours is a pretty pot and cup, and that cake looks tasty.
I will have to try this cake. However, I can't see adding milk or cream to tea (but then I mostly drink unsweetened ice tea and when I drink hot tea, I sometimes add a 1/2 teaspoon of honey).
Your teapot and cup are beautiful. The gingerbread looks delicious
Hugs and greetings.
Hey Jan! I love adding ginger to bakes. Raw ginger, ginger juice and dried. It all works so good to lift that bake.
Delightful.
Love the blue tea pot. I'd love a cuppa and a piece of that cake.
Che meraviglia il te con la torta.
Un ottima pausa a metà pomeriggio e in questo caso anche salutare.
Don't tease me Jan, actually, I'm only down the road at the mo - so I'll be there in a jiffy... Put the Kettle on!
Have a lovely weekend

Your low-carb ginger cake looks so delicious! I'll be checking out your recipe.
I like coffee in the mornings and tea in the afternoons. I think tea would be perfect with a slice of your cake. Yum!
I don't drink tea but I love a piece of ginger cake.
That ginger cake sounds so good.

Love gingerbread.
Hello there, pleased you like the gingerbread.
When using tea leaves I use a tea strainer, there are many available either in our stores or on-line.
If you put 'tea strainers for loose tea' into your computer search button you should see some.
All the best Jan

I enjoy a cup of tea just about every evening and that cake would go perfectly with it!
