Message to Carbo

Carbo I read your comment re. my article on sat fat and carbs. First let me state this blog is not for the benefit of the likes of you. Secondly I will get back to you and shred your comment in due course. At present I am busy dealing with that other chimp Kenny Boy. I am sure you can appreciate he is far more entertaining than a failed orlistat salesman like you.

"It appears that Eddie's double standards know no bounds.

He has decided not to publish my comment pointing out that the Pretzel's latest post appeared to be supportive of the type of recommendation one would receive from a dietitian (the bit where it says "a reduction in consumption of CHO with a high glycemic index, trans-fatty acids and linoleic acid"). Can't possibly think why? Answers on the back of a postcard please.

My comment regarding the missing apostrophe in every reference to Ken's Kingdom has, however, been selected for publication.

It must be so nice to be consistently inconsistent."

Carbo stop telling lies, you’re as bad as Kenbert. Fact and reality, you always had a problem with that you old pedant. I will answer your post in due course. BTW give Abby my love. She seems made for your cesspit.

All good things come to those that wait. How’s your weight ? I do hope you dumped that oriblstat.

Carbo comment.

“Dunno about you but the final paragraph sounds like a recommendation of a low GI diet and an increase in exercise - now where have I heard that kind of recommendation before? Oh yes, my NHS dietitian.”

Well Tub's it's good to hear you had a Dietitian that didn't push the low fat rubbish, pity about the low GI though, as you will have gathered the article was aimed not at diabetics but the general population of the Netherlands.

Now I can well see how a low GI diet would be beneficial for non diabetics, but for the metabolically challenged it's not the answer as you have found out to your cost. The advice to you as a diabetic from your Dietitian led to having to resort to the use of Orlistat did it not, not a good role model for the low GI diet now are you.

I think you'll find this is the root cause of your problems;

“A simple “carb loving person with diabetes”, struggling with managing the condition and living a normal life.” (Oh dear!)
