Did you know Oregano contains a powerful substance called beta-caryophyllene that helps fight inflammation. This herb is said to benefit people suffering conditions such as osteoporosis and arteriosclerosis. On top of it’s anti-inflammatory properties, antibacterial and antifungal properties can also be added to the list of what make oregano a top pick herb!
All the best Jan

...Mama Mia, sure looks good.
Very appetising, I could definitely go for that.
I'm using this recipe for sure,,thanks so much!
Wow! Looks delicious.
Happy Weekend.
There are a lot of greens used in this type of dish. I like spinach because it has a nice light flavor.
Jan, how delicious! And I only recently decided to make some meatballs without any breadcrumbs (or oats, etc). I don't need to tell *you* - they turned out great. You don't have to add simple carbs to meatballs! Now you've got me craving Italian meatballs.
They look delicious!
Oh, what a nice recipe! I've saved it and will make it at a later date. Thank you!
Now I would definitely enjoy that.
My, my, how can I resist you? :-)
From the ingredients, that's similar to how my mother made them.
My husband recently told me he doesn't really like meatballs!
I used to think that was a dead cert of a meal.

Learning all the time. It had never occurred to me that meatballs could be anything BUT lowcarb.
Hello Jan!:) Meat balls are usually on the menu once a week at my house. We love them with a half pork, half beef mixture, but I'll definitely try your Mama Mia recipe, and add more oregano to my cooking as well. Have a good weekend.:)
I hope to find fresh spinach tomorrow and that´ll be a yummy meal! Thank you, great info on the oregano, too!
Looks good and I like the bowl the meatballs are in. : )

Oh, yummy! We love meatballs and I like the idea of being able to make them low-carb. I will let you know when I try them. :-)
Love the fresh ingredients and this could easily be made vegetarian.
Sounds heavenly! Now that I am just "maintaining" I do indulge and eat my own wonderful meatballs now and then. I have them with Zoodles while the family has spaghetti. Have a great weekend!
This looks so delicious and I just happened to have some turkey meatballs in the freezer just waiting to be used :)
I did not know that about oregano- but it is great information. Thanks for sharing!
