Politicians pull the same crap over here in the US...
...in the US we are in an era of alternative facts!
They are afraid to take responsability on what might apparently turn out to be a suicidal act.

I really wish I knew more about this. In the states we are inundated with the Mueller Report, which, after over 660 days and hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayer funds, has shown NOTHING! It's bad on both sides of the pond, I fear.
