Tonight's music choice is Dido - Hurricanes. Dido is an English singer and songwriter, and watching the video and reading some of the comments I too think this song and video is a total piece of art … something a little bit different. Dido sings in a soft voice about her wish to face the "sound and fury" of hurricanes. There's an interesting gap along the song, between the softness of her voice and the harshness of the hurricanes.
A great voice to hear again. My husband and I googled Dido months ago to find out what happened to her. We were happy to hear she was putting out new music!
I love this and it IS beautiful and artsy - . Once again and it happens almost every time I choose to open my eyes, the creativeness of people - whether it's cooking, drawing, singing, producing, directing, acting, crafting, woodworking, dancing..on and on and on - we are SUCH a creative species - in everything we do. This inspired me actually. Thanks for sharing.
