Dauphinoise Casserole with Cabbage or Celeriac
Casseroles 'dauphinoise' can be just perfect LCHF dishes. Here we have one made with cabbage.
It is a combination of nutritious and inexpensive green cabbage and cheese.
The result is a creamy, delicious casserole.
Can be served as a side dish or as a vegetarian main course. More details here

~ wishing you a happy month of October ~

I enjoyed the quiz and knew only a few answers! The casserole looks delicious and perfect for this fall cooler weather.

I knew all of them, but I just remember opal because my grandmother had an opal ring she wore on her right hand. Gramps and I buried her with it. We felt she would have liked that.

This casserole looks OK, but I think the squash from yesterday is something I will actually fix.

Two more "facts": My "little" Brother and his youngest daughter were born in October.
I don´t expect them to join your list ;-)

Today is German Unity Day (one of my T´s celebrates also his Birthday) and I made a Soljanke, a typical East-German dish I learned of a couple of years ago, recipe to come on Thursday, sooo yummy (I am "West German").
Thanks also to you I cooked it!!! Me! The one who could not cook and asked you the dumbest questions in the beginning...
I really do thank you loads!
To a happy October!
