How will the carb wars end?

It could end if those against lowcarb concentrated on promoting their alternative diet, instead they spend all their time on trying to run down lowcarb failing spectacularly.

The two examples we have exposed on this blog prove they have nothing to offer in the way of dietary advice to Type 2 diabetics.

Boys - why do you want to fight with everyone.
People will make their own choice - time to calm down.

“Boys - why do you want to fight with everyone”
We don’t want to fight everyone, only fired ex forum moderators that troll around forums causing havoc.

Diabetics that hang around forums that have every benefit under the sun, then tell type two’s, who can’t get hold of a test strip, lowcarbing is not the way to go.

Oh I nearly forgot, that despot called Tubolard aka Carbopile.

I fear that this may be a fight to the death. Or until the fuse blows on Carbo's toaster.

People listen up it's not a real fight more a war of words, this has been the case of the carb wars for the last few years on forums and blogs.

Like it or not there is a point, and that is the grim statistics from the NHS re diabetes complications. The way for a Type2 to avoid becoming one of the stats is good blood sugar control, with minimum use of medications.

While we have those who advocate the use of 45 to 60% from carbs, and of course those who make completely unfounded claims about the safety and viabilty of Lowcarb, we will fight on!

Calm that's my middle name, if I was any more laid back I'd fall over!

The reality is, whether you like it or not it is not a war! The more you treat as such the more you turn people off. Look at your blog it is dead. So boys concentrate on yourselves because you are turning people away because you are behaving like little boys!
People will do as they wish and not behave in a different because you think it is right.

It was this blog and it’s members, that was instrumental in the removal of Ken and Sue from d.co.uk. Try and tell us that was not a bonus for the diabetic community. Let’s not forget the wonderful dietition, that spread nothing but fear and confusion, who never ever answered a straight question. Who told us that without potatoes etc., we risked scurvy and other serous medical conditions. A total disgrace to the profession in my opinion and others. Where is she now ? We have over thirty years of low carbing between us, and no problems. In fact the total opposite. We all have fantastic diabetes control. Something the NHS cannot achieve. We have excellent control of our weight, no sign dietary problems for us.

This blog gets thousands of page views per week, from people from all over the world. Our website has helped many. Our plain and simple to make low carb recipes are very popular, although we appreciate they are a subject of ridicule at Tubolards/Carbo’s blog for the medication and carb addicted. A classic example of stupidity can be seen at d.co.uk, in the name of Sid Bonkers aka the village idiot. Working overtime to promote Kens forum, and a one man army, to promote a ludicrous diet based on 16 gram portion size’s of corn flakes and tins of chocolate sweets. Yesterday he implied it was not the sugar in the sweets that lead to his weight gain at xmas, it was the fat. His calorie count may suit him, He is retired and by his own admission fairly inactive. My morning coffee with double cream, contains more calories than Sid’s breakfast, but then I work up to 12 hours a day and on my feet for much of it.

Are we right with our promotion of the low carb life style? Don’t take our word for it, check out the d.co.uk forum. Others are reporting staggering success on a daily basis. As always, the non low carb good news is non existent. Please feel free to comment here any time. Tell me, perhaps you can answer a question for me, why are all the good guys open about their identity, why are all the antis and dullards anonymous ? Just a thought.

Eddie get real - who cares about your actions. But no one is going to expose themselves to your type of harassment. You need a reality check the hots are high for the amusement factor !

I reckon your doing a great job, its bad enough when we get told we should base our diet round starch, to have fellow diabetics pushing the same advice is disgusting.

Harassment, I am very good at harassment. Harassment is what I do best. I have lost count of the people I have harassed from morbid obesity to a stable and healthy weight. I have harassed many from double figure BG numbers to non diabetic. I have harassed thousands on forums and blogs, to seriously consider their diet, and ask themselves, is good un-molested fresh food, a better way than more drugs.

It is true, I have harassed spreaders of fear and misinformation. Idiot forum moderators and diabetics that live on a diet based on carbs, toast and tins of chocolates. Let’s get one thing straight, how other experienced diabetics control their condition is cool with me. But as we see on a regular basis, these people cannot control their weight or BG numbers. How they kill themselves is their business. But when they push their lunacy on the confused and newly diagnosed, or the long term out off control, who has followed the standard NHS ruinous diet, I make it my business to try and help them.

Come back again, bring some friends. You can put you heads together and form a log hut.

Thank you for your comment.

Is my family proud of me, is that important ? who can say. I am extremely proud of them, and all they have achieved. But hey, I am one hell of a biased SOB.

Harrassed, I was and left the forum because of it, one mention of the benefits of fat was all it took. The idiots came out in force and proceeded to ridicule me, the final straw was when the moderator cugila joined with his sarcastic comments.

Why not go back ? The forum is totally different now Kenny boy has left. You can now post without fear of ridicule. Thank you for your comment.

"Your family must. be so proud that you are a bully and you think harassment is fine!"

Bullies! one of the nicer things we get called over at tub's blog. Some of the of the inferences in comments there are the products of sick minds.

We've nothing to hide, unlike those at tub's blog, bullies are also cowards as is evident with tub's and his followers.

You've done a good job with me. You've harassed me into losing weight. For the first time since I was about 6 years of age I'm not obese - yes I'm overweight but I'm working at it. How? LCHF, of course. I left dc.uk because of the negative 'picking' of the former mods. Perhaps I'll go back. I've made the mistake of joining diabetesabc.co.uk - Imagine my horror in finding it is run by the very people who chased me away from dc.uk. I'd stopped reading your posts and my eating was slipping back into higher carb. Thank you for pulling me back into line.
