Situations Vacant

Wingnut and Sprocket have several clients requiring top flight diabetes forum moderators. No previous experience required and knowledge of diabetes related matters is not a pre-requisite, indeed those with a sound understanding of diabetes control will not be considered. Any applicant who has ever used or heard of terms such as lowcarb or Paleo diets need not apply.

The ideal candidates will be obsessed with the three word game and must be a cut and paste expert. These positions would suit a collector of shoes and cheap jewellery and preferably be fully conversant with Kentucky Fried Chicken and take away junk food. The successful candidates are likely to be statin users and must believe healthy fats are the drain clogging work of Beelzebub. Those addicted to carbs and big pharma medication will be given preferential treatment.

Your duties will include the promotion and the aiding and abetting of forum numbskulls, especially members who ridicule and ensure Healthcare Professionals leave the forum swiftly. Medical Professionals have caused great fear and alarm with the forum fantasists, and long term trouble makers, and will not be tolerated.

If you feel you are what we are looking for, and meet the above requirements apply in confidence today. Address all correspondence to Monty Beantipper Head of Forum Recruitment. Fat ex cops that used to be a mod need not apply !

Don't forget they have to behave like politicians too and ignore what is being said.

They also have to have a distorted body image like Defren and make out that they are superior to all members.

I wish the Mods would help the Southport GP out. He has asked for success stories on LCing. Can a success include 150-200 carbs? I don't think some people on DCUK know what LC is. I hope the GP does.

Someone said on the diabetes.co.uk forum the other day “sometimes a diabetics worse enemy is another diabetic” very true I think. Logically if a bunch of foods are making you ill you stop eating them, but many cannot or will not. Who would get into an argument with a celiac for giving up gluten ? But when a diabetic reduces carbs to a safe level to reduce BG and medication, (some of which have been proved to be highly dangerous) all hell often breaks loose. Would an alcoholic work hard to convince people booze was the way to go, or a smoker try to get others smoking ? But carboholics want to take down people who can give up the opium of the masses. What drives them, stupidity, guilt, ignorance ? Maybe bringing people down to their level makes them feel better about themselves, I really do not know.

The ETYM forum, the truth, the whole truth, anything but the truth from some of the members and board members. The truth has been staring them in the face for months, but they are too up themselves to want to change. While the place is the Defren and Grazer show plus a few friends the forum will go nowhere. Most posts come from less than a dozen members. They work hard to make the forum look busy, but it ain't.
