Our Daughter in Law with her five year old son, memories that last forever. No better Mother in this world.
Ask any child the question ‘Who Has The Best Mother?’ And I’m sure 99% of the time the answer will be “MINE” and rightly so because surely every mother will do the very best she can for her child.
Unfortunately if you live in the UK you may well be at a dis-advantage. If you live in the US you may also be at a dis-advantage.
WHY is probably the question you are now asking.
You may have already seen this eye opening article ‘Britain is now Named 26th on the List of Best Places to be a Mother ...we've tumbled down the World Mother's Index. Ten years ago we were in the Top 10 but now 26 !! The US is below us at 31 !!
We really Do Need To Ask …..What is our Country Doing, What are the Politicians going to do about it. Do we need more Doctors, Do we need more midwives, Do we need more schools, ?
Is there anything we, as an individual, can do about it?
Is it simply that our country is that short of money ? Questions, questions I just wonder who may have the answers to this un-satisfactory state of affairs.
If you have any answers or views then please share them with us.
All the best Jan

What a truly beautiful picture, it just says it all.
As for the article, humiliating is the word that comes to mind.
There are some very good mums (and dads) who do the very best for their children, long may this remain.

The global recession does not help as families pockets are squeezed tighter. The parental love is still there though,
I agree with Kay a lovely picture of happiness.
