Jon Snow quote of the day from the best news reader and reporter on UK TV.
Just as an aside, Jon Snow said tonight, live on channel four news, I have given up bread and have lost a stone in weight. That for our American friends is fourteen pounds. And Jon was never overweight as far as I have seen him.
"It was always the case in the past wasn't it? If you wanted to lose weight you gave up bread potatoes, pasta etc."
So very true Kath and I know I'm a bit off topic but it got me thinking about the big picture, as it's widely accepted that a person that is diagnosed with Coeliac disease should avoid gluten based foods and of course there are many gluten free food products on the market available in light of this...why? well because there is no so called "Magic meds" that the Big pharma can peddle to avoid this eventuality Re diet,as for carbohydrate intolerance,AKA Diabetes...well we all know what big pharma, the NHS,DUK et al has to say about treating that,as Eddie so rightly says...Follow the money!

It was just accepted. That's why I can never get my head around why lowcarbing is regarded with such horror in some quarters.

A very well respected news reader and reporter as are his sons.
It will be interesting to see if others pick up on this 'throwaway' remark. As always quick off the mark Eddie.
