David Diamond - An Update on Demonization and Deception in Research on Saturated Fat...

Published on Jun 17, 2017
This lecture is part of the IHMC Evening Lecture series.https://www.ihmc.us/life/evening_lect...For the past 60 years there has been a concerted effort to demonize saturated fats, found in animal products and tropical oils, and cholesterol, in our food and blood. Despite the well-established health benefits of diets rich in cholesterol and saturated fat, flawed, deceptive and biased research has created the myth that a low fat, plant-based diet is ideal for good health.

For readers who may not know of sunflower sprouts here are some more details.
Sunflower Sprouts:
As well being an excellent source of amino acids sunflower sprouts are rich in folic acid and the B complex vitamins, vitamin C, E, selenium, zinc and an excellent source of cholophyll. They make a nutritious addition to salads, green smoothies, and juices. Plus they're good to snack on any time of the day.

Fresh, crunchy, and slightly nutty in flavor they can be grown indoors all year round, providing lovely fresh greens in the depths of winter. They can be grown outdoors when the weather is warm.
