Phoenix back from some R and R an straight into the frey.

Back at the flog, the queen of the posted link is my good friend the right honourable lady phoenix. Let’s get a few things straight about this mythical bird. She is besotted with the maniac dietition and big pharma shill Hope Warshaw, she posts on the Carbsane blog. She is on an insulin pump, obviously on insulin, a good supply of BG test strips and a top notch diabetes pro team. Her big buzz is to wind up type two diabetics who have none of these things, she is a total fraud. Some time ago when diabetes.co.uk forum members were posting their pictures, warts and all, the mythical bird posted her photo. A picture of a bow legged and scrawny woman from behind. One hell of a ruck sack pic, but the person was unrecognisable. We posted it here under the title of 'name that ruck sack'..Within hours she was over here bleating and threatening copywrite abuse, and ordered us to remove her photograph. Jeez you couldn’t make it up !

Get a life phoenix, most of the members have worked you out, why don’t you try and help the insulin using diabetics ? What larks eh.

From her latest post.

"I haven't the faintest idea how someone on a low carb diet would manage this trip." Very well I am sure, check out Dr.Jay Wortman, keep flogging the meds !We need people like you, most of the other carboholics have called it a day. Keep on motivating our team.

One more thing, why do think the NHS stats on HbA1c are so lamentably poor? Please, give us the benefit of your vast acumen.

Eddie

You jumped straight in and made assumptions. Seeing the name phoenix and low carb in the same sentence got to you.
She was saying that the food was very limited and totally unsuitable for a low carb devotee.

Maybe a low carber would have been more resourceful and done a bit of research before attempting to follow the same route. Phoenix's previous venture was achieved with a backback full of carbs supplemented with a copious supply of local bread.
