Zoe Harcombe: Advice On Reduction Of Fat Should Never Have Been Introduced In The 1980s (BBC news)
Yes, advice has to be looked at very carefully. I think nowadays with the internet being such a great tool many of us are reading and researching ourselves. There are many good papers, articles, studies and blogs etc.available.
The tide is turning, many think fat was wrong to be demonised as it was. I can remember my Grandparents, and especially my Grandma, eating lots of fat in their diet. Dripping was a big favourite ...my Grandma was 99yr when she died.
I think blogs like ours, and many others, can and do bring a big variety of articles for readers to read and exchange views. But what each of us eat has to be an individual choice, always taking any underlying health issues, allergies etc into account.
I choose to live the LCHF lifestyle ... that is my choice.
Many thanks for your comment R & L - it's always good to hear from you.

So now scientists do a 180 on their recommendations. Who's to believe this new advise is any better than the old?
