Did you know many studies have shown that dark chocolate is incredibly healthy, and may reduce your risk of several diseases.
Dark chocolate is loaded with fibre and antioxidants, as well as minerals such as iron, magnesium, copper and manganese. Plant compounds in dark chocolate have been shown to lower blood pressure, protect against heart disease, improve brain function and protect the skin against the sun’s harmful UV-rays. To make the most of the health benefits, it is recommended to eat dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 70–85% or higher. A piece of dark chocolate is especially delicious when enjoyed with a good cup of coffee.
Bottom line: Dark chocolate contains high amounts of fiber, antioxidants and minerals. It may reduce the risk of heart disease, improve brain function and protect the skin from the sun.
I hope you may enjoy this low carb dessert dish soon ...
Please note, not all may be suitable for you.
If you may have any food allergies, or underlying health issues these must always be taken into account. If you are a diabetic and not sure how certain foods may affect your blood sugars, test is best, i.e. use your meter.
All the best Jan

Chocolate is NEVER a mess....OMG that looks so good.
It does look lovely, reminds me to buy some fruit for tea, already hankering after fresh stuff. Said to my OH winter food seems to all come wrapped in pastry , from mince pies to pork pies all a little to much for me.
Hope you have a Happy Christmas and new year . Thank you for your support and lovely comments you leave on my blog throughout the year.
