This recipe uses the humble cauliflower in replacement of toast and honestly it works amazingly as a low carb replacement to bread. You finish feeling satisfied and you honestly don’t miss the bread at all. It’s seriously scrummy and makes a perfect weeknight supper, or one hell of a breakfast! This makes the ideal brunch to make on a sleepy weekend.
To feed two people you will need:
1/2 cauliflower,
4 slices smoked salmon
1 avocado, make sure he is good and ripe
2 eggs
salt, pepper
olive oil
sprinkle of tumeric, pinch of cumin
Start By:
Preheat your oven to 190C
Then take your cauliflower and pull off all his outer leaves."
Next you need to go over to Margie's site and read her instructions here
She has a great way of writing and a very clear step by step guide.

I think this is going to make a very nice brunch this coming weekend - what do you think?
I may just have to start getting the table ready now LOL !
All the best Jan

Weekend dish, maybe.

I absolutely am going to make this one on the weekend Jan, I can see Aimee loving it too!
What a good idea replacing toast with cauliflower. I do love poached eggs.
Does that ever look appetizing! I recently saw apple pie toast on a blog, an old Weight Watcher's recipe from the 60s I want to try too.
looks great
Looks very good but I don't like avocados.
This looks delicious! I love poached eggs just like the egg in this photo and I love salmon, too!
Wow what a beautiful dish! It must taste divine. Another great way to eat cauliflower. Thank you, Jan. Have a lovely weekend. ♥
Great dish Jan, a poached egg goes great with anything in my book :)
This is beautiful and I can almost smell it, too.
We have a few different kinds of frogs and toads. You know I love bug eaters. You also know you have the balance right when the wild critters come to your unnatural water garden.
Have a blessed week.
cauliflower is the new it food, it has taken off in so many recipes. is that your eating nook?? it's so cute and i love the light!!!
I love cauli! I'm a recent convert to avocado, how I wish I'd discovered it earlier.xxx
Why a clever idea. Anything with a poached egg on top has got to be tasty.
