I think most readers would agree that exercise is important. Of course, how you exercise is a personal choice and our age and any health concerns must always be taken into account.
Just remember, any movement is good 😊

Good article and a reminder why I need to keep at it. I walk on the treadmill most every day, but need to make sure I don't skip a day.

Exercise is something that I am horrible with, Jan. I normally get about two miles in each day just doing my regular chores around the house, but to get out and just walk or do any other form of exercise doesn't happen nearly as often as it should. Now that the weather is warming up, I do have a plan to walk some outside each day...even if it's just around the backyard.

Great information!
Exercise always helps. When I ache from exercise, in a weird way it feels happier than when I sit in a chair for hours and get up stiff and aching.

I do not have organized exercize...but I DO exercise. Up and down 16 stairs outside our unit. Up and down for laundry, getting thee mail, taking down the carbage, coming and going to the store and shopping. And I do get in some walking too.

Such a great reminder! I am so happy it is starting to get warmer outside so that I can go on longer walks around the neighborhood. I finally had my carpets cleaned and finished up my spring cleaning to-do list so I think I will go for a long walk today! Thanks for the extra motivation!

as someone who had been walking 10,000 or more step daily, I would agree with you Jan about the benefits of walking. However, due to a recently diagnosed displaced knee cap, my step walking has taken a backseat for a while.
