Here's a low carb tasty soup, perfect for Autumn/Winter Days
Cream of Celeriac Soup
Celeriac is a great autumn/winter vegetable, it is also a low carbers favourite. I saw this very nice recipe by James Martin, and thought it one to share. It does make a creamy soup, and for an added touch can be served with crispy pancetta and croûtons ... although it does have a nice taste without this ... so it's up to you dear reader whether or not to add the garnish! You can see the recipe here
You will find a variety of recipe ideas/suggestions within this blog, and not all may be suitable for you, if you may have any food allergies, or underlying health issues please take these into account. Soup season is almost here for me. This recipe looks super good.
Yum. Double yum.
A soup season delight.
Both sound good...at times like this it would be nice to live closer to a bigger store. Our little local grocery would not carry the celeriac....or leeks...
Looks and sounds delicious.
I wish it felt like autumn here. Today was nearly 35 C. It is still outlandishly HOT here.
Ironically, I just had some homemade foccacia bread recently. This sounds delicious, too.
I would go for that foccacia.
The focaccia bread sounds wonderful with that lovely soup. Thank you so much for this idea, Jan.
