In the US, it seems we are as divided as night is from day, Eddie.
The news is no longer the news; it is the news "show" or, to borrow your words, the news "s**t show." When it became obvious that people are profoundly influenced by listening to this agenda driven crap and influenced by the opinions crap spewing celebrities (so sad), I cancelled my cable TV subscription. The media no longer reports the news. The media are merely creators of hysteria.
After watching the "Kavanaugh Chronicles" on YouTube, I can only hang my head. We have stepped over the line of common sense. We have lost our ability to think critically and independently. We are circling the drain.
When will it end? I think this is just the beginning...
