How about whipping up this delicious latte. The coffee and pumpkin spice almost seem to wrap your senses in a big warm hug. A perfect Autumn, Fall or anytime drink - and so easy, it will make you smile.
Ingredients
Serves One
1 oz. unsalted butter1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp instant coffee powder
1 cup boiling water
Method1. Place butter, spices and instant coffee in a deep bowl to use with an immersion blender. Alternatively, you can put the ingredients directly into the jar of a blender.
2. Add boiling water and blend for 20–30 seconds until a fine foam has formed.
3. Pour into a cup and sprinkle some cinnamon or pumpkin spice on top. Serve immediately!
4. It's even more delicious with a dollop of whipped heavy (double) cream on top.
TipThe instant coffee can be replaced with a shot of espresso; just add less of the hot water. The latte can also be made coffee and caffeine free. The butter and pumpkin spice gives it a wonderfully rich flavour, so whether you go with "high octane" coffee, or decaf – this could well become your go-to drink this Autumn.
Ingredients
3 tbsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp ground nutmeg2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground allspice
Method
1. Mix the spices well and put in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.2. If you have whole spices on hand you can grind them using a spice or coffee grinder.
3. Remember that the spices should be kept in a dark, dry and cool place. You can use small tin containers for storage.
4. Make a large batch of seasoning for use within the next 4–6 months. After this time, the spices may lose some heat, flavour and colour. They will still be safe to use, but perhaps not as flavourful.

I love pumpkin spice, but not in my coffee! Valerie
Now that our weather has changed and it is finally cool, this sounds just perfect!
Mmmm! Sounds good. Thanks for sharing.
Now I know it's fall for sure.
Mmmm, pumpkin spice 🎃
Oh I love this time of year for food and spices!!! Thanks for the spice recipe!
I don't think we get pumpkin spice here - or I haven't seen it anyway.
Despite loving pumpkin I have never had a pumpkin pie.
I'm not sure whether I like the idea of having butter in my coffee. Usually I have one pumpkin spice latte a year, and that's it. It's to welcome fall in all its splendor - and after that I'm perfectly content to wait another year. (and darn, this year I haven't had one so far! maybe because it's still quite hot here).
I like pumpkin pie... but I've never seen much point in pumpkin spice lattes.
That's definitely an interesting recipe. I'm really glad you shared it with us!

Hi Jan. I have had the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks and it is so good, but your way would be much healthier! Thanks for your visit. They sure did a number on that old tree, but the pretty zinnias are still going strong..Happy Week to you..Judy

Hello Jan, already the title of the post is magical: Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice Latte... :)
Sounds lovely... and it is indeed pumpkin time.
Have a happy week ahead! xx
I'll have to make that pumpkin spice, easy and delicious. As I don't drink coffee, I'll have to settle for a slice of the pumpkin pie :) Thanks Jan
I was wondering what's pumpkin spice? until I saw the list of store cupboard dry ingredients that can be mixed up to make it. I would leave out cloves which I don't like and also the butter. interesting recipe. Best wishes, Linda.
These are delicious and mouth-watering recipes!!! THANK YOU!!!
Looks good.

Hello Dora and thanks for your comment.
You can make dairy free lattes using either soy, almond, or hemp milk.
These three seem to be best dairy milk alternatives for your latte.
